Early in 2022 we were asked by Archant (the publishers of Bride Magazine) to photograph a styled shoot for the above magazine. This is the 3rd styled shoot we have done with Archant in various magazines.
The shoot took place at a recently launched venue Otley Hall in Suffolk in early November - we couldn't "give the game away" until the magazine was published in mid-Decmber.
As we state in the article, we love a styled shoot, and we jumped at the chance of doing it. It's great to work with fellow wedding professionals some of whom we've worked with before and some who we were really happy to get to know.

Otley Hall which is so steeped in history, has so many photo opportunities.
The aim of the shoot was to portray a country garden themed wedding with autumnal colours.
One challenge was the British weather (it can be a challenge, even in the summer). The forecast was for heavy showers and a strong breeze. As with weddings we had to have a contingency plan, keeping our eye on the weather radar app which we rely on.
As the showers were predicted at 1pm we resolved to shoot as many outdoor shots as possible early in the day and then the indoor shots when the showers hit. It worked well. A lot of a wedding is shot indoors anyway so if it rains on your day just embrace it. There’s normally a dry period when we can get outside to get your favourite outdoor shots.
