We love an Indian/English Fusion wedding. We've photographed a few over the years and they never disappoint.
Before you read the blog have a look at our BTS reel about how we created aome stunning images from the day:-
Dont forget we can create reels like this for your wedding day with our Content Creation service.
The wedding of Shriya and Richard on 12/7/24was a riot of noise and colour. Here are a few images from the day and if you are thinking of Woodhall Manor as your venue check out our drone picture which shows WM, in all its glory.
Bridal Prep.
With most of our couples we begin the day with Bridal prep. Our aim is to tell the story of the day, in pictures, from the preparations to the first dance as a married couple.
Ceremony
The ceremony was held outside in the Dove Cote
The ceremony was conducted by Registrars from the Suffolk Registration Service Office of Bury St Edmunds.
After the ceremony.
Confetti!!!
Cake Cutting
First dance as husband and wife.
And this was where it became interesting...
Normally cake cutting is followed by first dance. Not this time! The Bride and Groom then got changed into their Indian dress and processed from the front of the Manor round to the dance floor.
Led by the Dhol Drummer of course and multi-coloured flares.
And then a bit of Bollywood dancing!
Our thanks go to all the staff at Woodhall Manor, and all the suppliers who made sure everything ran smoothly.
We hope our images have helped inspire you. If you are looking for photographers who always provide 2 shooters on the day, who will get to know you and what you want for your day, and to accompany you on your wedding journey why not get in touch - info@awakenimages.co.uk.
If you're contacting the venue, don't forget to tell them where you saw it.
