A wedding Photographers Guide
Today our blog and small guide features Shamma & Michael's Wedding,
Venue: Longstowe Hall, Cambridgeshire
Wow, what a great way to celebrate a couple's special day with an Indian/English "fusion" wedding.
A quick guide to the venue!
Longstowe Hall is situated between St. Neots and Cambridge. It is an exclusive hire wedding venue. It's surrounded by gardens, a spectacular lake and the backdrop of the house make for some stunning images, even if the sun isn't shining. If the weather behaves why not have an outdoor wedding?
With most of our couples we begin the day with Bridal prep. Our aim is to tell the story of the day, in pictures, from the preparations to the first dance as a married couple. Bridal prep is about the bride (and her bridesmaids) relaxing, reflecting and occasionally panicking BUT always good fun!
We love the bed and bright colours of Shamma's traditional wedding outfit.
The ceremony and reception were all held at Longstowe.
After the ceremony
Some formal (and not so formal) shots in the grounds. It had started to drizzle so we found a little shelter, and carried on.
Time for the Groom's speech
First dance and then the party really got started!
The Bride had told us she had organised a surprise for everyone.
Our friends from Socharo Dance - they put on a great show and the got everyone up on the dance floor.
That's the Bride's Dad - having a great time
We hope our images have helped inspire you. If you are looking for photographers who always provide 2 shooters on the day, who will get to know you and what you want for your day, and to accompany you on your wedding journey why not get in touch - email@example.com.
If you're contacting the venue, don't forget to tell them where you saw it.
