A wedding Photographers Guide
Today our blog and small guide features Pippa & Jason's Wedding,
Venue: All Saints Hotel, Fornham, Suffolk

Pippa was a brilliant planner and on her wedding day we think she wondered what she would do without her clipboard! As with most couples COVID had an impact on their day with their wedding being postponed for over a year.
Having met Pippa and Jason at our "office" (the local pub!) we had a nice relaxed pre-wedding meeting so we knew what they wanted.
We always have a great time at All Saints Hotel (ASH) and this day was not exception. A great day - lots of love and laughter throughout the day.
A quick guide to the venue!
All Saints Hotel is set on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. in the village of Fornham St Genevieve. It can host your ceremony and your reception. It also features accommodation, with en suite rooms, complete with swimming pool, spa and an 18 hole golf course, so something for everyone.
During summer months we're able to take you out on the golf course, we can even use our drone!
Before we met Pippa in her bridal room they had hired our family run sweet car and Love Letters business, so we popped these up early in the morning; ready to satisfy those sweet teeth!
Bridal Prep.
With most of our couples we begin the day with Bridal prep. Our aim is to tell the story of the day, in pictures, from the preparations to the first dance as a married couple. Bridal prep is about the bride (and her bridesmaids) relaxing, reflecting and occasionally panicking BUT always good fun! There was no panicking with Pippa, supremely organised and calm.
Often requested by brides - the first look shot! A tremendously proud Dad.
Ceremony
The ceremony and reception were all held at ASH. The ceremony was conducted by Suffolk Registrars.

After the ceremony
Afterwards the brilliant ASH team organised the confetti shot and while the guests were having a drink Pippa and Sam had some "couple shots" with us. With a winter wedding we were able to get some great sunset shots - something we have to wait until late evening for in the summer. We always give couples the opportunity to have 15/20 minutes on their own with us. It allows them to let everything sink in and we have some fun.

The Wedding Breakfast!
A cracking 3 course meal was served, our lovely couple provided us a meal too so we got to sample the beef and gravy - delicious!
Speeches followed with the brides dad up first, with speeches from the groom and of course the best man!
The Evening
After that the cake was cut, first dance and then the party really got started!
Our couple had hired our Glitter booth Pod with glitter background - always a hit when the guests have had a few drinks!
