A wedding Photographers Guide
Today our blog and small guide features Paige & Richards' Wedding,
Venue: Easton Grange, Suffolk
It was fantastic to act for this couple. We had met them the previous summer to discuss their special day and to have a pre-wedding shoot, so we knew their day was going to be fun.
A quick guide to the venue!
Easton Grange is situated in the middle of some glorious Suffolk countryside as you can see from this drone shot. Our drone gets us to places other photographers cannot reach!
Ali and Sian are the owners of Easton Grange. As a family owned and run business (like ours) we have always found the staff at Easton to be very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food is always delicious.
Easton Grange has always had on site accommodation but the 8 new lodges which are launching in Spring 2022 will bring a new dimension to the venue and thE amount of guests who can "stay over". Why not have a mini break at the same time as celebrating a couple's wedding?
Bridal Prep.
With most of our couples we begin the day with Bridal prep. Our aim is to tell the story of the day, in pictures, from the preparations to the first dance as a married couple. The bridal prep room at Easton Grange gives the bride and her bridesmaids a little "oasis" of calm.
Bridal prep is about the bride (and her bridesmaids) relaxing, reflecting and occasionally panicking BUT always good fun!
The Bridal Party's group hug.
Ceremony
The ceremony and reception were all held at Easton Grange. Suffolk Registrars from the Ipswich Registry Office officiated.
After the ceremony
Afterwards drinks and canopies were served. It's a great time for us to get some candid photos of guests relaxing with each other. Then we got everyone out for our signature drone shot! What a great memory our drone shot provides. Everyone who is at the wedding is on this shot.
DRONE SHOT
Then it was time for confetti.
The groom fancied himself as a bit of a photographer (We might have twisted his arm a little to "have a go").
Our unposed system always goes down a treat.
The Wedding Breakfast!
Time to sample the great food from Easton Grange's kitchen and then a bit of fun with a Mr and Mrs Game.
Cracking shot over the River Deben which runs through the grounds.
The Evening
After that the cake was cut, first dance and then the party really got started!
We love to be a bit creative with some nighttime shots.
We hope our images have helped inspire you. If you are looking for photographers who always provide 2 shooters on the day, who will get to know you and what you want for your day, and to accompany you on your wedding journey why not get in touch - info@awakenimages.co.uk.
If you're contacting the venue, don't forget to tell them where you saw it.
